My name is Guru Kiren. I was born and raised in Mexico City, land of savage color, delicious foods, hearts wide-open and unchecked laughter; a place mired in raw chaos that keeps one humble in the massive scale of its existence.
Presently I live in beautiful and peaceful New Mexico, Land of Enchantment, where I teach many in-person workshops on intentional creativity, and run a full-on bakery/café called The Chocolate Maven Bakery and Café in Santa Fe, with my husband Dharm Singh and daughters Hari Rai and Sahib Simran.
I am of the Sikh faith, although I believe everyone has the divine right to follow the path that is most resonant with his or her heart and soul. Thus, all are welcome here with an open heart and an open mind, regardless of faith and tradition.
I studied with Yogi Bhajan for many years learning and absorbing a library of teachings that continues to inspire thousands world-wide. And it is this that interests me most: to merge the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga and meditation with Intentional Creativity for the upliftment and nourishment of women’s souls.
I believe this beautiful world is a constant reminder of quantum POSSIBILITY, especially when I align myself with a higher expression of the values I hold sacred and dear. I strive to live my life as if every act, thought, word and/or deed have a deep impact on the world I inhabit, the people I relate to and the circumstances that I’m faced with.
I am passionate about being an agent of change for the better by spreading Light, Joy and Beauty wherever I go. I also travel the world facilitating White Tanric Yoga courses and leading kundalini yoga summer camps for women.
